Can I make changes to my HubSpot myself, or should I ask BrightReach?

What's safe to change on your own.

Yes — your HubSpot system is yours, and you should work in it freely. For everyday changes, go right ahead. For structural changes, loop us in first.

Everyday changes — updating records, creating a list, adjusting a view, logging activity — are exactly what the system is for. Have at it.

Where it's worth a heads-up is structural changes that touch how the whole system is wired: renaming or deleting properties, changing pipeline stages, editing automation, or reworking how data is organized. These can quietly break reporting or automation downstream. It's not that you can't — it's that a quick question saves headaches.

Rule of thumb: if a change only affects your own work, just do it. If it changes how the system works for everyone, ask us first. When in doubt, reach out — we'd much rather answer a quick question than untangle something later.
