How do I find and read my reports and dashboards?
A dashboard is a set of reports — and the filters tell you what you're seeing.
Open the dashboards area to see your reports grouped together — a dashboard is just a collection of reports on one screen, built to answer questions like "how's the pipeline?" or "what did we close this month?"
To read a report well, always check what it's actually showing:
- What's being counted — deals, contacts, or tickets? Created or closed? The title usually tells you.
- The date range and filters — most reports are limited to a time period and often to certain owners or pipelines. This is the key to understanding any number.
- Your access — if you only see your own records, your totals will differ from a manager who sees everything.
Your dashboards were set up to show what matters for your team, so start there rather than building from scratch. If a number looks off, it's usually a filter — see the troubleshooting article "My report numbers don't look right." And if you need a report you don't have, ask your admin.
