Adoption is a people problem more than a software one. A few things reliably move the needle.
What works
- Explain the why. People adopt tools that make their job easier once they see how. Lead with the benefit to them, not to reporting.
- Make it the path of least resistance. If the system is easier than the old spreadsheet, usage takes care of itself.
- Have leaders use it. If the boss runs the pipeline meeting from the CRM, the team lives in the CRM.
- Train more than once. A launch session plus a follow-up when the real questions surface beats a single firehose.
