Every CRM drifts toward messy unless someone holds the line. The good news: a few light habits keep yours clean without much effort.

The habits that matter

  • One owner for data standards. Someone on your team owns "how we do things here."
  • Create new properties sparingly. Most "we need a new field" moments are better solved with one you already have. When in doubt, ask before adding.
  • Import carefully. Bulk imports are the fastest way to reintroduce duplicates and junk — follow the process we leave you.
  • Review periodically. A quick quarterly look for duplicates, dead records, and unused properties keeps things tight.
