How We Handle Scope & Change Requests
What's in, what's new, and how we decide.
Your statement of work (SOW) defines what a project includes. Good projects still evolve — here's how we handle that without scope creep or surprise invoices.
How we think about it
- In scope — if it's covered by your SOW, we just do it.
- Minor and adjacent — small refinements that don't change the shape of the work usually get absorbed as we go.
- New or materially larger — anything that meaningfully adds to the work gets a short, written change note before it starts, so cost and timeline are agreed up front.
You'll never get billed for something you didn't say yes to. When something falls outside scope, we tell you plainly and give you the call.
