A form isn't creating contacts or I'm not getting submissions
Why your form submissions aren't coming through.
If a form isn't producing the contacts or notifications you expect, there are a few likely causes.
Is the form actually live? A form has to be published and correctly embedded on the page where people fill it out. If it was edited but not re-published, or the page is using an old version, submissions may not flow.
Are you looking for notifications? If you expected an email alert on submission, check that notifications are on and going to the right people — and check spam. The contact may be getting created even if you're not being notified.
Existing contacts. If someone already in your CRM submits the form, it updates their existing record rather than creating a new one. So "no new contact" can actually be the form working correctly.
Field mapping. If the form's fields aren't mapped to the right properties, data can land in unexpected places or not stick.
If the form is published, notifications are on, and submissions still aren't coming through or landing correctly, reach out to the Help Desk — we can check the form setup and where the data is going.
